Delete your Where is my people account
You can delete your account and data yourself in the app, or ask us to do it.
Option 1: in the app (fastest)
- Open Where is my people and sign in.
- Go to Settings.
- Tap Delete account and confirm.
Option 2: ask us to delete it
If you cannot open the app, request deletion by emailing mepandiyan@gmail.com from the email address of your account. Include the subject Delete my Where is my people account. We may ask you to confirm it is you.
Good to know
What is deleted?
Your profile, your latest location, the places you created and your family memberships are removed from our database. If you created a family circle, the circle and its places are removed with your account, so its members lose access to it.
How long does it take?
Deleting inside the app is immediate. Requests made by email or form are processed within 7 business days.
Can I get a copy of my data first?
Yes. In the app go to Settings, then Export my data, before you delete your account.
